Whatever term you use - stress eating, emotional eating, binge eating - your relationship with food may be causing you distress.

You may feel you are trapped in a cycle of loss of control eating and self-blame.  You may even feel you have a food addiction.

It may feel impossible to seek help in a world of weight obsession and nutrition noise.

Nutrition counselling sessions are tailored to wherever you are at, your needs, your goals, your life experience. 

You are supported to make informed decisions from a place of autonomy, compassion and well-being.

We also have the option of adding “bottom up” embodiment practices (mindfulness, yoga) if they are helpful for you at this time.     

My approach is high consent, and you are centred as the expert of you. It is through this partnership that change happens, at a pace and depth that works for you.    

You may find your emotional or binge eating is severe, or emotional issues may be severe or persistent.  Or you may have a Binge Eating Disorder diagnosis.  In that case I provide care as part of a treatment team.   This would include your GP and a psychotherapist who specialises in this area.    A team approach is about best care of you, particularly if you are healing from burnout,  chronic stress or trauma, or are working through other challenges such as addiction or a mood disorder.
